Soyko International has been processing Non-GMO products for years.

We believe in and follow our mission: Better Ingredients, Better Health

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) refer to any organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques.  GMOs have an unknown effect on health, though many health care providers are now finding that there can be potential danger in consumption of GMOs in the long term.

*Soil has also been found to be damaged, as GMO containing seeds "suffocate" the soils, upsetting the balance within the soil causing growth of seeds to be slowed or even stunted.

Many food providers are now switching to Non-GMO products for health reasons. (Click here for a list)

Soyko International has always used Non-GMO products to promote better health through quality products.  We will not risk taking part in GMO products.

ORGANIC

What is organic?

Defined by USDA:

Organic agriculture produces products using methods that preserve the environment and avoid most synthetic materials such as pesticides and antibiotics. USDA organic standards describe how farmers grow crops and raise livestock and outline which materials they may use.

Organic farmers, ranchers, and food processors follow a defined set of standards to produce organic food and fiber. Congress described general organic principles in the Organic Foods Production Act, and the USDA defines specific organic standards. These standards cover the product from farm to table, including soil and water quality, pest control, livestock practices, and rules for food additives.

Soyko International is certified to handle organic soybeans.
